1. What SMCAlpha is

SMCAlpha is an analytics and reputation service. You connect a read-only exchange API key; we compute performance metrics from that data and let you publish a verified public profile. SMCAlpha does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, does not manage money, does not place trades, and never takes custody of your funds. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation to trade. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

2. Your account and keys

• You must provide accurate information and are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• You must connect read-only API keys only. Keys with trading, transfer, or withdrawal permission are rejected. You are responsible for the permissions on any key you provide and for revoking it on the exchange.
• You are responsible for the security of your own login credentials, wallets, and devices.
• You must be legally permitted to use the service in your jurisdiction and be of legal age.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are prepaid in cryptocurrency (USDT). Payments are final and non-refundable except where required by law. There is no automatic renewal; a plan simply lapses when its prepaid period ends. Prices and features may change with notice for future periods. You are responsible for any taxes on your use of the service.

4. Rewards pool and referral program — discretionary, not guaranteed

The rewards pool and the referral program are optional, discretionary benefits, not a promise, contract, or obligation to pay any amount. Specifically, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• You have no vested or guaranteed right to any pool distribution or referral payment. Amounts shown as “accrued”, “qualified”, “owed”, or “pending” are indicative estimates, not debts owed to you.
• SMCAlpha may change, reduce, pause, or permanently discontinue either program, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason, without prior notice and without liability. Percentages and eligibility rules are configurable and may change.
• If a program is modified or discontinued, any unpaid or accrued amounts may be forfeited and no outstanding obligation survives. This includes, without limitation, discontinuation due to loss of business, insufficient revenue, insolvency, a security incident or hack, fraud, legal or regulatory requirement, force majeure, or any unforeseen circumstance.
• Payouts are best-effort and processed manually. Timing is not guaranteed. Eligibility requires, among other things, a confirmed payout address and compliance with these terms.
• Distributions are weighted by verified tenure, activity, and risk discipline — not by trading performance or rank. This is a reputation reward, not a trading contest, prize, or investment scheme, and must not be treated as one.
• We may withhold, reverse, or deny any distribution or referral reward we reasonably believe is connected to fraud, abuse, multiple accounts, self-referral, manipulation, or a breach of these terms.

5. Security, assumption of risk, and no liability for losses

Cryptocurrency and online services carry inherent risk. You use SMCAlpha at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMCAlpha is not liable for any loss arising from: a security breach, hack, exploit, or unauthorized access; failure, downtime, error, or compromise of any exchange, blockchain, wallet, RPC, node, or other third party; loss or theft of funds or credentials; chain reorganizations, failed or misdirected transactions, or gas/network conditions; or any event outside our reasonable control (force majeure). In the event of a security incident or any unforeseen situation, SMCAlpha carries no outstanding payout or financial obligation to you. We do not hold your exchange keys with trading power and never hold your funds, which limits — but cannot eliminate — risk.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: create multiple or fake accounts; self-refer or arrange circular referrals; submit false, manipulated, or non-genuine data; attempt to game eligibility or rankings; interfere with, probe, or attack the service; or use SMCAlpha for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate any account, and remove any profile or reward, for suspected abuse, at our discretion.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Metrics are derived from third-party exchange data and may contain errors or gaps. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMCAlpha’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, and SMCAlpha will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SMCAlpha harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content or profile, your API keys, or your breach of these terms.

9. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date will change and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or terminate the service, or your access, at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 4, 5, 7, and 8) survive.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute. For questions about these terms, contact SMCAlpha through smcalpha.com.

By registering, you acknowledge that the rewards pool and referral program are discretionary and may end at any time with no outstanding obligation, and that SMCAlpha is not liable for losses from security incidents or unforeseen events, as described above. Back to sign up.
